Hawke Media is one of the fastest growing marketing firms in Southern California. To accommodate their hyper-growth, they created a new headquarters by renovating an old industrial warehouse and giving it an open, flexible design.
Business Challenge
Hawke Media only had two weeks to move out of their old office and furnish their new 25,000 sq. ft. space in a way that would allow them to adapt for future growth. The tight timeline was one key reason they chose Vari® but they also trusted us to provide solutions that would help them maintain their collaborative culture and complement their new industrial design aesthetic.

Solution
Hawke trusted Vari to take them from space plan to fully installed in just 3 days. Movable QuickFlex Walls® were used to divide and define spaces for workstations, casual meeting areas, and formal conference rooms, while Privacy Booths created a quiet space for client calls. Flexibility was built into the design, allowing them to increase their density from 160 workstations up to 250 as they continue to grow. Movable walls can easily be disassembled and reassembled to create new spaces as needed, and more workstations can be added to accommodate new team members in hours, not weeks.
The Result
After the install, CEO and founder Erik Huberman said, "Vari had all the different types of furniture that complemented exactly what we were trying to do in the environment we wanted to create." The new office serves as a modern showcase space where they can invite clients, host events, and engage in their industry. Having sit-stand workstations, breakout spaces, and separate areas for focused or collaborative work means that employees can work the way they want. It's an environment that shows Hawke Media cares about their employees' well-being.
